{"id":3824,"date":"2019-05-17T10:12:00","date_gmt":"2019-05-17T01:12:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.kuroda-law.gr.jp\/en\/?p=3824"},"modified":"2019-06-25T11:16:22","modified_gmt":"2019-06-25T02:16:22","slug":"compliance","status":"publish","type":"practice","link":"https:\/\/www.kuroda-law.gr.jp\/en\/practice\/compliance\/","title":{"rendered":"Compliance"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">When companies expand their businesses into Japan and other countries, they must beware of misappropriation of company assets and divulgence of confidential information by employees.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In order to prevent the occurrence of criminal acts by employees that negatively impact the company&#8217;s tangible and intangible assets, it is important to ensure that employees are aware of compliance matters in their day-to-day work.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">To do this, the company must make sure that the spirit of acting in accordance with compliance requirements takes root among employees, such as by preparing compliance manuals suited to each company, and by ensuring that all employees working in the company are familiar with them, as well as conducting compliance training as appropriate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We have prepared compliance manuals and provided compliance training for Japanese companies and many overseas subsidiaries.
